Senior Computer Classes (Beginners and Advanced) began Monday, August 5th in the Friendly Temple Learning Center. Beginner classes are Mondays and Wednesdays 1:00pm til 3:00pm and Advanced classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:00pm til 3:00pm in the Learning Center Computer Lab. Seniors will get the opportunity to learn about new technology and how to navigate in the tech world. Classes are open to all seniors in the community. Registration is required, please contact the Administrative Office at 314-367-9700 to register.

The Poets in Autumn Tour is headed back to Friendly this year featuring poets: Ezekiel Azonwu, iamGENETICS, Preston Perry, Chris Webb, Joseph Solomon, and St. Louis native Jackie Hill-Perry. This will be the last year these 6 artists will be on the tour together. The creativity of #PoetsinAutumn is unmatched. A production that fuses high end video elements for visuals with solid poetry by talented artists. #ThePIATour is more than a poetry show, it's theater, it's worship and more. Friendly Temple in partnership with Family & Workforce Centers of America HMRE Program is hosting a Couples Retreat. Its a 2 day retreat that connects with couples on communication, money management, hidden issues, overcoming barriers and much more! It includes an overnight hotel stay with meals and materials provided. This event will take place, August 2nd - August 3rd. The Friendly Book Club will have their Book Discussion on the chosen book of the month, "How to Forgive... When You Don't Feel Like It" by author June Hunt. The discussion is open to all those that have read the book or is still reading.
